HORTICO S.A. honored with the title of Business Gazelle 2018

HORTICO S.A. was awarded the title of Business Gazelle for the fifth time. The ranking, organized since 2000 by Puls Biznesu daily, is the oldest and most recognizable ranking of this type in Poland, gathering the most dynamically developing small and medium-sized enterprises.

This year, the company was placed in the position of 3,259, improving its last year’s result by 777 places.

In each edition of the ranking, the three full past years of the company’s results are examined. In the current edition, the results achieved in 2015, 2016 and 2017 were verified.

Business Gazelle 2018 must meet all of the following criteria:

• starting operations before 2015 and running it continuously until today,
• in the base year 2015, sales revenues in the range between PLN 3 and 200 million,
• in 2015-2017, an increase in sales revenues from year to year,
• in 2015-2017 no loss,
• enabling the analysis of your financial results for at least the three analyzed years.

HORTICO S.A. Business Gazelle 2017

HORTICO S.A. another year in a row was awarded the title of Business Gazelle. The ceremony took place on January 31, 2018, at the Wrocław Stadium, and the gala was graced by a recital by Stanisław Soyka.

Business Gazelles is the most popular and oldest ranking of the most dynamically developing small and medium-sized enterprises. The project is being implemented continuously since 2000 by Puls Biznesu.

For Business Gazelle 2017 could apply a company that met all of the following criteria:

• started operating before 2014 and has been operating continuously to this day,
• in the base year of 2014, sales revenues were in the range between PLN 3 and 200 million,
• in the years 2014-2016, from year to year, it recorded an increase in sales revenues,
• in the years 2014-2016, it did not record a loss even once,
• made it possible to analyze your financial results for at least the three analyzed years.

The place of the company on the ranking list was determined by the percentage increase in turnover achieved in the three analyzed years (2016 vs. 2014).

HORTICO with the title of the Business Gazelle 2016

January 31, 2017 HORTICO S.A. once again was awarded the title of Business Gazelle. The award ceremony was held at the Business Club at the Wrocław Stadium.

Coface business intelligence agency at the request of Puls Biznesu prepares annually a list that identifies the most dynamically developing small and medium-sized enterprises in Poland. In each edition of the ranking, the results of the Companies for the full three preceding years are examined, and in the 2016 edition, the results for the years 2013-2014-2015 were analyzed.

A company that met all of the following criteria could apply for the title of Gazela Biznesu 2016:

• started operating before 2013 and has been operating continuously to this day,
• in the base year of 2013, its sales revenues were in the range between PLN 3 and 200 million,
• in the years 2013-2015, each year it recorded an increase in sales revenues,
• in the years 2013-2015, it did not record a loss even once,
• made it possible to analyze your financial results for at least the three analyzed years.

The place of the company on the ranking list was determined by the percentage increase in turnover achieved in the three years under study.

Companies offering financial services or related services, as well as companies that had at least once a negative equity value in the analyzed period, could not participate in the ranking.

Compared to 2013, the position of HORTICO S.A. in the ranking increased by almost 1,200 places.

The third Business Gazelle for HORTICO SA

HORTICO SA was included in the prestigious ranking of “Puls Biznesu” for the third time. The title of Business Gazelle 2008 and 2012 was joined by the award for 2013, officially awarded to us at the gala on February 11, 2014.

The 2013 Business Gazelles gala for companies from the Lower Silesia Province took place on February 11, 2014 in the conference and entertainment center of the Municipal Stadium in Wrocław. On behalf of HORTICO SA, the commemorative plaque was collected by Paweł Kolasa, President of the Management Board. This is the third award for our company as we also found ourselves in the “Puls Biznesu” ranking in 2008 and 2012.

– We are very proud of all the Gazela Biznesu titles: for 2008, 2012, and 2013. They are a symbolic affirmation that we have obtained the right direction and that our efforts are paying off. It is also an award for our employees. Without their involvement in building the company, there would be no development or good financial results – says Paweł Kolasa, CEO of HORTICO SA. – The place in this year’s ranking is even more gratifying as it was not the easiest time for the horticultural industry – he adds.

Compared to the previous ranking of “Puls Biznesu”, the company advanced by 220 places.

The Business Gazelle ranking was created in 2000 on the initiative of the “Puls Biznesu”, and today it is one of the most prestigious annual business rankings. Its purpose is to promote small and medium-sized enterprises that can boast of dynamic development and a stable financial situation.

HORTICO SA named the Business Gazelle 2012

The excellent financial results of HORTICO SA did not go unnoticed. The annual increase in revenue over the last few years lead to the Company being awarded the Gazela Biznesu award for the second time in its history. We treat this title as a token of recognition for the excellent financial condition of HORTICO SA and confirmation of the effectiveness of the Company’s development strategy.

The Business Gazelles ranking has been run by “Puls Biznesu” since 2000. Its goal is to promote small and medium-sized enterprises that have been dynamically developing over the past three years. The company’s position on the ranking list is determined by the percentage increase in turnover achieved in the analyzed period. Companies offering financial services or related to such, i.e. banks, insurance, and factoring companies, do not take part in the ranking. The results of capital groups are also not included in it.

Criteria for participation in the ranking:

• commencement of operations before 2009 and its continuity to this day
• in the base year of 2009, sales revenues in the range between PLN 3 and 200 million
• in the years 2009-2011 an increase in sales revenues recorded year by year
• in 2009-2011 no losses were recorded
• enabling the analysis of financial results at least from 2009

Nomination in the FIRMA DOBRZE WIDZIANA competition

On February 2, 2012, at the Platinum Palace hotel in Wrocław, HORTICO S.A. the nomination for the “Company well seen” competition in the Dolnośląskie voivodship was awarded. The “Company Well Seen” project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.

The award is an expression of appreciation and thanks to the company, its management, and the employees for their social commitment and implementation of the idea of ​​corporate social responsibility. It was received on behalf of the company by Ms. Kinga Kazubowska-Talaga, Administrative Director of HORTICO S.A.

Transparent company

In December 2008, our company was awarded by Dun and Bradstreet Poland with the “Transparent Company” certificate. This certificate is awarded to companies that reliably fulfill their obligation to publish financial statements.

HORTICO wins the Business Gazelle 2008

We are pleased to announce that the HORTICO company has been honored by Puls Biznesu with the title of “Gazela Biznesu 2008”. This prize is awarded to companies that demonstrate dynamic development, credibility, reliability, and professionalism. It is all the more valuable to us as it is the result of an impartial evaluation of our activities and is granted without application and fees from the company.

The ceremony of presenting commemorative certificates took place on March 3, 2009, at the Teatr Polski in Wrocław.
