Debut on the NewConnect Market
On January 20, 2011, HORTICO S.A. debuted on the NewConnect market.
Series A shares in the amount of 9,384,090 and 1,800,000 series B shares were introduced to trading. From the private issue carried out in October last year, the Company obtained PLN 4.3 million, which it intends to allocate for the construction of more(after Wrocław) facilities as part of the “Green Center” project – Garden Gallery “.
As reported by the parkiet.com website, no transaction was concluded that day, because investors were willing to pay for the shares even for PLN 6, which is 150% above the price at which the Company issued the securities (the issue price was PLN 2.40). According to the regulations of the exchange, trading cannot start if the opening price is more than 50% higher than the reference price. In order to start trading in stocks, before Friday’s session the WSE raised the price to PLN 3.60.
