The 17th HORTICO Fair (January 11-13, 2019), which with its flourish confirmed the significant position of the Company on the Polish horticultural market, is behind us. This edition will undoubtedly go down in history due to the records that have been broken. During the Fair, not only 25% higher sales record in comparison to the previous years was achieved, but also the number of nearly 50 exhibitors was equally impressive, as was the turnout from customers, which this year amounted to 370 and was the highest in several years.
This year’s integration event, preceding the day of the Fair, was held for the first time at the Taberna pod Sosnami, where participants had the opportunity to taste local specialties and have fun by the fire to the sounds of highlander music until late at night.
On January 12th, the exhibition space prepared at the Hotel Rzeszów **** hosted both companies for which participation in the Fair has already become a tradition, as well as debutants. Suppliers had the opportunity to show new products for the 2019 season and their best products, conduct talks summarizing the past year, and customers could place pre-season orders on preferential terms. The drawing of prizes, among participants who made purchases, was also very popular.
The fair ended with a ceremonial evening gala, during which the guests could have fun with the music of the Drims band. Numerous awards have been prepared for the participants: for suppliers for the highest sales and for customers for the largest purchase, as well as for the largest orders in terms of value in the 2018 season via the Contractor’s Desktop internet platform. The event was graced by the performance of Patrycja Widlarz & Michał Nazaruk, who, in addition to presenting their dancing skills, invited people willing to learn cha-cha to the dancefloor.
The event was a huge success, exhibitors conducted hundreds of commercial transactions. Fair participants are already looking forward to the next edition, and the organizers will try to make the 18th HORTICO Fair even better than the recent ones.
