In the horticulture industry, the beginning of the year is an impulse for increased work and, at the same time, for the last purchasing decisions before the upcoming season. At this time, HORTICO S.A. always organizes its HORTICO FAIR, this year the 18th edition of the trade event was held between 9-11 of January 2020 at Hotel Rzeszów ****.
As in previous years, the fair was preceded by an evening gathering at the Taberna pod Sosnami, organized in a highlander atmosphere. Feasting together by the fire perfectly integrated and cheered up the participants, giving a foretaste of the upcoming attractions.
During the Fair alone, over 300 representatives of shops and garden centers had the opportunity to see the assortment of 52 leading manufacturers in the horticulture industry, get inspired and place orders on preferential terms. The rich offer lead to great interest of the invited guests, which resulted in a 30% increase in orders compared to last year. Traditionally, the final attraction of the Fair was the drawing of prizes among all participants of the event and the award of our most active Business Partners in the following categories: The biggest purchase, The Biggest Purchase in 2019 via the Contractor’s Desktop Platform and The Biggest Sale Among Exhibitors.
The evening banquet, attended by 300 people, was an occasion to celebrate great business results and for the informal talks. The evening was graced by the performance of the VOX band, which, with the sounds of their greatest hits such as “Banana Song”, “Magdalena”, “Happy Road Already Time”, took the participants of the banquet on a sentimental journey of the 1980s.
Participation in the Fair was an ideal opportunity to learn about the trends for the upcoming season and the latest technologies used in horticulture. We sincerely thank everyone who took part in them. It was very nice to meet you and talk to you.
