On February 21, 2019, a meeting with under covers vegetable producers was held at the Tłokinia Palace in Tłokinia Kościelna. As many as 140 customers from the Kalisz region participated in it. The organizer of the event was Grodan, which in 2019 celebrates its 25th anniversary in Poland, as well as HORTICO SA, which is the largest distributor of Grodan products. Yara was also a co-organizer of the meeting.
During the meeting, gardeners could learn about new solutions in hydroponic cultivation. The presentation of the HORTICO company, the exclusive distributor of the Bioline brand, was devoted to the new biological method of controlling the tomato leaflet (Tuta Absoluta) using Trichogamma achaea. The speaker was Paweł Kulas, who in the company deals with consulting in the field of biological protection. Then Przemysław Kucharczyk from Adob presented the action and differences in the absorption of iron chelates. The next item on the agenda was the experiment conducted by Kamil Pogoda to present the differences in the quality of iron chelates available on the Polish market. The experiment showed the decisive advantage of Hortisol Fe Strong iron chelate based on microgranules, which does not dust, does not clump, dissolves perfectly in water and contains 100% iron in the form of chelate available for plants.
The meeting ended with an official dinner and party until dawn.
