On January 12-14, 2018, the 16th edition of the HORTICO Fair took place at the Hotel Rzeszów **** in Rzeszów. As usual, the attendance was great as there were fifty exhibitors and over three hundred customers of wholesalers from Wrocław, Lublin and Rzeszów. The owners of garden centers and shops had the opportunity not only to see in one place the offer of producers cooperating with HORTICO, but also to stock up for the upcoming season, taking advantage of preferential conditions. The fair was record-breaking in terms of the number of placed orders, it was also an opportunity for many business talks and a summary of 2017.
As reported by Mariusz Bochra, a sales representative of RAMP, to Biznes Ogrodniczy, the event was extremely successful, which was confirmed by the doubling of orders compared to the previous year. Dariusz Bartnik, a regional representative at Spójnia, assessed the fair in a similar way, adding that the organization was at the highest level. There were also traditional competitions: for the largest orders in value in the 2017 season via the Contractor’s Desktop, for the largest sales for exhibitors, for the largest purchase for customers and drawing prizes among all buyers. Thanks to the rousing music of the DRiMS band, as well as unforgettable acrobatic shows and the game of lights, the fun lasted until dawn.
It was very nice to meet again in such an excellent group and we are looking forward to the next year’s fair.
